“A new way to do art”
After a long pause of reflection both in art and life, at the beginning of this year 2017 I started a wonderful path, born of the case. Or maybe nothing happens by chance. I tell you a bit about me:
I am Prisca, an Italian artist who, in addition to love for art, I love touching everything with my hand.
My work is not limited to a single material, but uses a polymateric technique (chipboard, plywood, pallets, canvas, wood, resin, acrylic etc.) and frames are made in various variants (leather, tint, zippers, wood, plastic etc.).
I have a recurring theme that distinguishes me: the zipper.
Any of my work, behind or in front of the canvas, always has a zip. Hidden or well visible.
For me, art has a thousand facets and is found everywhere.
Every day, in every work, they are constantly searching for new ideas as subjects, varying and experimenting with the zip technique, so as to offer the public a variety of different, original, but above all, unique and difficult to repeat pieces.
I have a personal showroom open to the public, because people can also see in my own laboratory, where I work.
